Privacy Policy

Hero is a QR code generator. Every code you make is computed and drawn on your device. The app has no networking code, so nothing you paste — configs, URLs, text — ever leaves your phone.

No camera

Hero draws QR codes; it does not read them. The app never requests camera access — there is no scanner, and iOS will never show you a camera permission prompt for Hero.

No data collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data. There are no analytics, no crash reporters, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs. Your presets and settings are stored locally on your device and are included only in your own device backups.

No accounts, no tracking

Hero has no sign-up, no login, and no server. We cannot see what you generate, and we do not track how you use the app.

GDPR & CCPA

Because we process no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. If you believe you have a privacy question anyway, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Hero does not target children and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. A change will never add data collection silently.
